Alto

Alto Lemon

"I wanted a sound that is broad, warm, soft, full... and naturally I didn't want to give up volume and colour in the dynamics." The neck, body, bell and bow are left in their raw state, while the annealing process is completely different from the other models. All this considerably increases the warmth and fullness of the Lemon's sound, giving it a slightly lower projection than the Booster model. The dynamic limit arrives extremely late and is almost never reached by musicians. The precise, ergonomic mechanics are gold-lacquered. The Lemon is recommended for players with a broad, very open embouchure.

Alto Booster

We were often asked: "I'd like a broad sound but with great volume and projection too... naturally with easy playing and a wide dynamic range: I need to go from pianissimo to fortissimo without distorting the timbre!" It seemed an impossible task, but a different working of the sheet metal during annealing, a nickel electroplating brushed on the outside, a very rigid clear lacquer that favours the material's vibration, and precise, ergonomic gold-lacquered mechanics: voilà, the Booster was born! An instrument with a unique, very defined sound yet rich in warmth and depth, aimed at those seeking an infinite range of colours.
